Delete Your Account and Data

You can delete your VibePet account and its data at any time. There are two ways.
1. Delete in the app (recommended · immediate)
Settings → Account → Delete account
Once you confirm, deletion is processed immediately. There is no waiting period.
2. Request by email
If you cannot access the app, email biz@inhandplus.com.
- Put
Account deletion requestin the subject line. - Send from the email address you signed up with. This is the minimum we need to confirm it is really you; we cannot act on requests from a different address.
- We process the request and reply within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your account details, AI coaching memory, usage logs, and any invite codes you created.
Care entries and pet profiles belong to a household — the space your family shares — so each household you belong to is handled by membership, not by who created it.

| A family member is still in it | The household is kept. Entries you logged are handed over to a surviving member, and only your membership is removed. |
Why isn't the household deleted outright? A household is a shared space. The pets, the entire timeline, and the growth and vaccination history all hang off it. Deleting it because one person leaves would destroy another family member's records without their consent. So deleting your account never destroys anyone else's data.
If the hand-over fails, deletion fails safely — nothing is destroyed and you can try again. We would rather fail safely than silently lose a family member's records.
If every member deletes their own account, the full deletion above runs when the last member leaves. If you want an entire household destroyed at once, ask us by email.
What is retained
- Information we must keep to comply with law or resolve disputes is retained only for as long as that purpose requires, then destroyed.
- Backups do not disappear instantly; they are destroyed on their rotation schedule.
- Data sent to OpenAI for AI processing is not used for training and is deleted after at most 30 days of abuse monitoring (their policy).

Deleting data without deleting your account
You can delete data yourself, in the app, without closing your account.

Deletion is immediate and disappears for every family member. There is no waiting period.
If you cannot access the app, or want us to delete specific data for you, email biz@inhandplus.com from the address you signed up with. We process the request within 7 business days.
Backups are not erased instantly; they are destroyed on their rotation schedule. Information we must keep to comply with law or resolve disputes is retained only for as long as that purpose requires.
Keeping your account but turning AI off
You can stop AI processing without deleting your account: use manual entry only, and don't use the voice/photo AI features or the AI coach.

VibePet のアカウントと関連データは、いつでも削除できます。方法は2つあります。
1. アプリから削除（推奨・即時）
設定 → アカウント管理 → アカウント削除
確認すると即時に処理されます。待機期間はありません。
2. メールで依頼
アプリにアクセスできない場合は biz@inhandplus.com までご連絡ください。
- 件名に
アカウント削除依頼とご記入ください。 - 登録に使用したメールアドレスからお送りください。ご本人確認のための最小限の手続きであり、別のアドレスからのご依頼は承れません。
- 営業日ベースで7日以内に処理し、結果をご返信します。
削除されるもの
アカウントを削除すると、アカウント情報・AIコーチングのメモリ・利用ログ・ご自身が作成した招待コードが削除されます。
ケア記録とペット情報は世帯（家族の共有スペース）に属するため、所属する各世帯を作成者ではなくメンバーシップを基準に処理します。

なぜ世帯ごと削除しないのですか？ 世帯は家族が共有するスペースです。ペット、タイムライン全体、成長・予防接種の履歴がすべてここにぶら下がっています。一人が抜けたからといって削除すると、他の家族の記録が同意なく失われます。 そのため、アカウント削除が他のメンバーのデータを破棄することはありません。
引き継ぎに失敗した場合、削除は安全に失敗します — 何も削除されず、再試行できます。家族の記録が静かに消えるより、安全な失敗を選びました。
家族全員がそれぞれアカウントを削除した場合、最後のメンバーが抜ける時点で上記の全体削除が実行されます。世帯全体の即時削除をご希望の場合はメールでご依頼ください。
保管されるもの
- 法令の遵守や紛争解決のために保管が必要な情報は、その目的に必要な期間のみ保管し、その後破棄します。
- バックアップは即座には消えず、バックアップの周期に従って順次破棄されます。
- AI処理のため OpenAI に送信されたデータは学習に使用されず、不正利用の監視目的で最大30日間保管された後に削除されます（同社のポリシー）。

アカウントを残したままデータだけ削除する
アカウントを削除せずに、アプリ内でご自身でデータを削除できます。

削除は即時に反映され、家族全員の画面から消えます。待機期間はありません。

アカウントを削除せずにAI処理だけを停止することもできます。手入力のみを使用し、音声・写真のAI機能とAIコーチを使用しないでください。

VibePet 계정과 그에 연결된 데이터는 언제든지 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제 방법은 두 가지입니다.
1. 앱에서 직접 삭제 (권장 · 즉시 처리)
설정 → 계정 관리 → 계정 삭제
확인하면 즉시 처리되며, 별도의 대기 기간이 없습니다.
2. 이메일로 요청
앱에 접근할 수 없는 경우 biz@inhandplus.com 으로 요청해 주세요.
- 제목에
계정 삭제 요청을 적어 주세요. - 가입에 사용한 이메일 주소로 보내 주셔야 합니다. 본인 확인을 위한 최소한의 절차이며, 다른 주소로 온 요청은 처리할 수 없습니다.
- 영업일 기준 7일 이내에 처리하고 결과를 회신합니다.
무엇이 삭제되나요
계정을 삭제하면 계정 정보, AI 코칭 메모리, 이용 로그, 본인이 생성한 초대 코드가 삭제됩니다.
케어 기록과 반려동물 정보는 가구(가족 공유 공간) 에 속하므로, 소속된 가구를 생성자 기준이 아니라 멤버십 기준으로 처리합니다.

왜 가구를 통째로 지우지 않나요? 가구는 가족이 함께 쓰는 공간입니다. 반려동물, 전체 타임라인, 성장·예방접종 이력이 모두 여기에 매달려 있습니다. 한 사람이 나간다고 이를 함께 지우면 다른 가족 구성원의 기록이 동의 없이 사라집니다. 그래서 계정 삭제는 다른 구성원의 데이터를 파기하지 않습니다.
이관에 실패하면 삭제는 안전하게 실패합니다 — 아무것도 삭제되지 않으며 다시 시도할 수 있습니다. 가족의 데이터가 조용히 사라지는 것보다 안전한 실패를 택했습니다.
가족 구성원이 모두 각자 계정을 삭제하면, 마지막 구성원이 나갈 때 위의 전체 삭제가 실행됩니다. 가구 전체의 즉시 파기를 원하시면 이메일로 요청해 주세요.
보관되는 항목
- 법령 준수나 분쟁 해결을 위해 제한적으로 보관해야 하는 정보는 해당 목적에 필요한 기간 동안만 보관 후 파기합니다.
- 백업은 즉시 사라지지 않고 백업 주기에 따라 순차적으로 파기됩니다.
- AI 처리를 위해 OpenAI 에 전달된 데이터는 학습에 사용되지 않으며, 남용 모니터링 목적으로 최대 30일 보관 후 삭제됩니다(운영사 정책).

계정을 유지한 채 데이터만 삭제하기
계정을 지우지 않고도 앱 안에서 데이터를 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다.

삭제는 즉시 처리되며 가족 구성원 모두의 화면에서 사라집니다. 대기 기간은 없습니다.

계정을 유지하면서 AI만 중단하기
계정을 삭제하지 않고 AI 처리만 중단할 수도 있습니다. 수기 입력만 사용하고 음성·사진 AI 기능과 AI 코치를 사용하지 않으면 됩니다.
